Yesterday and today I dedicated myself to configuring the Ubuntu 20.04 server on Raspberry Pi4 connected to my home ADSL modem on dynamic IP, to install and test a
Friendica hub at
this address. I must say that Friendica's installation was more demanding and less simple for me than Hubzilla's.
The main problem is dynamic IP. Friendica sends an email during registration and I did not receive that email because the server that manages my email refused it as it was sent from a dynamic IP address in the black list. I had to deactivate SpamAssassin on my email server and start the password reset procedure. So I got an email in the spam mailbox that allowed me to activate an account.
My first impression of Friendica is positive.
